1. Who operates Linear
This policy covers the Linear Secure Network Android VPN app and linear.tr. The service operator is Eagle Games Oyun Oyuncak Üretim Ticaret ve Sanayi Anonim Şirketi, registered at Kocatepe Mah. Meşrutiyet Cad. No: 29/21 Çankaya/ANKARA, Türkiye. For privacy questions and requests, email helplinearvpn@gmail.com.

2. How the VPN works
When you connect, Linear uses Android’s VPN service to route your device’s internet traffic through our server in Frankfurt, Germany, hosted by DigitalOcean. WireGuard encrypts traffic between your device and the VPN server. The server processes your source IP address and destination network addresses to forward traffic. VPN encryption ends at the VPN server; HTTPS and other application encryption may continue to protect connections to their destinations. A VPN does not make you completely anonymous.
WireGuard keeps operational peer information, including the current endpoint IP address and port, latest handshake time and transfer counters, while the peer is configured. The Android VPN service does not include a browsing-history database or advertising or analytics SDKs. This is not a claim that no connection metadata is processed or logged.
3. Device registration and local storage
No user account is required. Your phone generates a private connection key, a public key and a random device token. The private key stays on your device, encrypted using Android Keystore-backed storage and excluded from app backups. The app sends the public key and device token to our registration service over HTTPS.
The registration database stores your public key, a hash of the token, assigned tunnel address, last registration time and access-revocation status. These records let us configure and authenticate your connection, manage server capacity and prevent unauthorized use. A public key and token hash are pseudonymous identifiers, not a guarantee of anonymity.
To limit new-device registration abuse, the service processes the request IP address and stores a daily keyed hash derived from that address with a counter and day value. Normal registration access logging is disabled, but infrastructure error and security records may still include an IP address.
4. DNS and service providers
The current app configures Cloudflare’s public DNS resolvers, 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1. DNS queries travel through the VPN tunnel while it is connected and are then processed by Cloudflare. DigitalOcean provides the infrastructure on which the VPN, registration service and website run. Google processes support correspondence delivered to our Gmail mailbox. These providers process information needed to deliver their services and may process it in countries other than your own.
5. Website visits
Our website does not include an analytics script or an account registration form. Its web server records request information such as IP address, time, requested website resource, response status, browser user-agent and any referrer sent by your browser. These website requests are separate from browsing through the VPN. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and request information when your browser requests those files.
6. Help and support
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. In the Android app, including device and app-version information is optional and unchecked by default. Your email app opens so you can review the message before sending. We use this information to answer questions, investigate problems and handle privacy requests. Do not send private VPN keys, passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
7. Retention
- Device registration: registrations older than seven days since the last registration are removed by the daily cleanup task, or sooner during a new-device registration. Routine daily cleanup can therefore take up to approximately one additional day after expiry. Registering again refreshes the timestamp.
- Registration rate limits: records for previous UTC days are removed during a successful registration or daily cleanup.
- Local credentials: retained on your phone until app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Disconnecting alone does not delete credentials or the server registration.
- Website and Nginx error logs: the server is configured for daily rotation and keeps 14 rotated log files. Empty logs are not rotated, so this is not a strict 14-day deletion guarantee.
- System security logs: currently rotated according to system storage limits rather than a fixed retention period.
- Support correspondence: we retain support emails for six months after the request is closed, then delete them from our support mailbox, including its trash. If specific correspondence must be retained to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute, we limit retention to that purpose and the necessary period.
8. Your choices and deletion requests
You can disconnect at any time, remove Android VPN permission, clear app storage or uninstall Linear. Stopping use does not immediately delete the server registration; it expires according to the schedule above. The current app does not expose an immediate registration-deletion button.
For access, correction or deletion requests, contact helplinearvpn@gmail.com. We may need information sufficient to verify and locate the relevant records. Because device registrations are not linked to email accounts, an email address alone may not identify your device registration. We will never ask you to email your private VPN key. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, request portability or complain to your relevant data protection authority.
9. Security and disclosure
We use encrypted VPN transport, HTTPS for registration, encrypted local credential storage and restricted server access. No system can guarantee absolute security. Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law or necessary to address a security incident. Any information retained for such a matter is limited to what is necessary for that purpose.
10. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when the service or its data practices change and revise the date above. Material changes that require notice or consent will be communicated before the relevant processing begins.
